It’s the first week of August, and that puts us just four short weeks away from the first day of school — and, consequently, four short weeks away from the fall real estate market in Cobourg, Port Hope, and all of Northumberland County.
Unlike the spring real estate market, which can begin as early as February and as late as April (depending on a number of factors, the weather being the most obvious), the fall market predictably begins when the children go back to school and the families of Northumberland County go back to their routines — it’s almost like turning on a switch.
